Stolen dog / sheriff response

Coons said the sheriff's department needs to act on the stolen poodle from Carpet Corral given the video and license plate evidence, before residents take matters into their own hands.

The owner of the stolen 14-year-old blind poodle asked the council to press the sheriff's department for more action, noting the assigned deputy only works weekends and that video and license plate evidence exist.

Whelan said the sheriff's department has been gaslighting the owner for eight days despite a license plate and faces on camera, and warned she may file a complaint.
